REQUIREMENTS: MATILDA (FB)

Audition requirements (must be at least 9 years old by audition date up to age 50)

1. Prepare a minute monologue (appropriate to the role/s auditioning for, preferably with a British accent)
2. Prepare a memorized minute cut of a show-tune that will show your vocal range (appropriate to style of the show and the role/s auditioning for)
3. Wear or bring dance attire for the “on the spot” dance audition.
4. Bring your calendar to submit to us all your possible conflicts - absolutely no absence during tech week, Oct 13-17 (5pm-12 the latest); and show time, Oct 18-27 (10 shows)

Thursdays at 5:30-6:30pm
Saturday mornings 9:30am-12:30pm
Starting August:
Saturday mornings music with Gianna Gimenez at 9:30-10:30am for the first hour; then direction with Luz Ladrillono after, from 10:30-12:30am; and afternoon dance with Haylee at 1:30-4:30pm.
Sundays
2-4:30pm choreo/direction (only on some Sundays if needed)
6-9:30pm run thru of learned numbers.

Kate Rockwell Broadway Stars Concert Series VI

Kate Rockwell is currently starring as Karen Smith in Mean Girls at the August Wilson Theater, which garnered her a Drama Desk Nomination. A natural brunette, her previous Broadway dumb blondes include Bring It On, Rock of Ages, Hair, and Legally Blonde. She’s also been seen on High Maintenance, Deadbeat, and Sex and the City: the Movie. Rockwell released her debut solo album, Back To My Roots, in 2018. @katerockwellnyc

Lyrique Music Productions is Excited to add Mean Girls’ Kate Rockwell to our Broadway Stars Series VI event! Rockwell joins a star-studded roster of actors who have worked with Huntsville’s most promising actors in a masterclass setting.
